Kasia , Jack & Lana - Maternity

New babies are so exciting to look forward to....especially if you're the person who simply gets to spoil them and make them laugh without having to get up to the 4 a.m. feedings!!
Toddlers are also a lot of excitement to have around. I had fun photographing little Lana as well. She spotted my pink tutu and immediately wanted to put it on so she could be a balarina. And what a little model she was...posing for my camera. Here are a few for now.

Courtney & Gustavo - winter wedding

I must say, I meet some of the nicest people through my photography. this young couple are so sweet with one another and everyone around them. Even after a glitch occurs with their wedding planning when their venue cancelled out on them at the last minute. It turned out however, to be a beautiful ceremony held at St. Andrews Prespiterean Church with a cozy, intimate reception at Four Points Sheridan. And by nightfall, we had snowfall. there's something magical about new powdery snow, gleaming lights, and a couple in love.

This image was fun to create. Courtney was great holding still while Gustavo tried to whoo her with flowers and chocolates from all angles...I had to do something sweet like this since it was a Valentine weekend wedding...thanks guys ....

Cayden & Hunter - Children - Winter Play

You may remember Cayden & Hunter from a previous session in the fall. Cayden was the lucky guy who got to climb aboard a fire truck that happened to stop in the park that day. I got to photograph these two once again and even though it was pretty cold, it didn't stop Cayden from having some fun and trying to get his little brother to laugh for me and my camera.

Ashley & Jed - Winter e-session

I had a great time photographing this fun loving couple's e-session and I'm looking forward to photographing their wedding this coming October. When I met with Ashley and Jed to discuss their wedding and e-session, Ashley knew right away she wanted a winter session. When we finally picked a day that worked for both of us, it turned out to be -17. For me that wasn't much of a problem since I'm not the one being photographed, I could bundle up nice and warm and not worry about what I looked like. I'm sure I was pretty scarey with my bandana. My only problem I found were that batteries don't last long in that kind of cold. Despite the chill, we were able to find some great places out of the wind and had fun regardless.

One of the great things we photographers get to do, is not only capture the two as a couple, but we also get to capture the emotions shared. How great is that?!

George - Labradoodle

Isn't this just the nicest looking dog you've ever seen? And what a cool breed name...Labradoodle ! George and his owner came out for a quick walk in the snow with me for a few shots despite the freezing cold wind! It would have been a fantastic winter morning had the wind not been blowing off the lake. I won't tell my husband, but I wouldn't mind having one of these breeds...George is just so handsome! and the sun just made his butterscotch coloring look so amazing.
