Michael - Bike Exchange

So, some of you have already heard the story of my son and his bike exchange program he's started, but for those of you who haven't...

Last summer, he wanted to start BMX racing. However, he already had a road bike for Triathlons and a bike for mountainbiking so we said no. He then found an abandoned BMX bike in the river, hauled it out and walked it the 12 km's home. He asked if he fixed it up himself, if he could then race, so we changed our no to "maybe". After he fixed it up, spray painted it, he was ready to go so we said that if the officials said it was safe, we'd sign him up. So, last year he raced.

this year, because of his dedication, we decided to buy him a new one. Here's a shot of him with it...we had to wait over a month for it to come in.
So, he decided to take the old bike from last year and has now started collecting more bikes to fix up so that he can give them to kids whose families can't afford them. How great is that?

so if anyone else has a bike to donate, please contact us and we'll arrange to pick it up.

Ingrid & Edward - Wedding at the University Club

Ingrid & Edward are one of those couples who met through E-Harmony...so the ads on TV really are true! This couple are living proof of the love they found in each other. Their venue is one of the most gorgeous places in Kingston and I was awake at 4:00 a.m. with excitement to be photographing here...unfortunately, the weather had other plans. About 1/2 hour before the ceremony, it started to rain and continued for the rest of the day.

Ingrid made for such a beautiful bride and her gown was amazing.

Edward was just as handsome.

Aren't they a sweet couple?

Although the ceremony was moved indoors, it was still beautiful with the chandeliers lit.

We had a quick minute to photograph the parents with Ingrid & Edward despite a little rain coming down.

The flowers were exquisitly designed by McMahon's.
....the bride loves frogs!!!! why I'm not sure, but I can't say anything since I have 3 trefrog tatoos...she incorporated them in her boquet and her cake....cool

The handsome ring bearer.

What a unique Cake!!! Cakes by Krista did an amazing job! It was the best tasting cake I've ever had too!!!

Dinner was amazing and started with a little soup and this salad.
