George - Labradoodle

I've photographed George the Labradoodle before, but Sherri wanted a more formal look with him for this session, so we brought him on inside my studio. He's such an adorable BIG dog.

Riley & Mya - pram

I drove by Alley Cat Antiques just the other day and this pram caught my eye and I had to have it. Don't you just love it?! I think it's amazing! And wouldn't you know it, Riley and Mya were coming down from Toronto, so I had to call their mom and tell her to bring them by. I've had the pleasure of photographing these sisters on a couple of occasions now and I knew they'd be perfect for these shots. So glad I called. Aren't these shots sweet?!!!

Babies, Babies, and more Babies

Amber Shereen's workshops are amazing! You'd be surprised at what learning even a simple little tip can do to make or break a session. I'm so stoked to try what I've learned today at my upcoming sessions. It was great learning along side 4 other talented photographers for the day and it was packed full of cutie pies. 5 to be exact. Despite the fact that somehow I had injured my Ilieotibial Band in my leg a couple weeks ago and am supposed to avoid crouching (among other tasks), I managed for the day, however, my knee is packed with a bag of frozen peas from my fridge...it's a little soar right now...what we photographers do to get such sweet baby photos...(lol)...oh and my allergies started acting up half way home and I've gone through a box of kleenex in less than 3 hours....
It was all worth it!!!!!

I love off-camera flash!!!! took my son out for this shot...I have to bribe him now for photos ...he thinks he should have a cell phone, but I figure he can have one when he can pay the bill!...and I figure there's better things he can do than text and talk through computer games.

Evan - 8 mths

You met Ben in the previous blog...now meet Evan...his little buddy he brought along with him. He's another cutie pie!...wide eyed and full of wonderful smiles...these two are going to have a lot of fun growing up together...and probably a lot of mischief too!

Little Ben - 8 mnths

I love this little guy. I photographed Ben when he was just 8 weeks old. He had the same big smile then too! He has one of the most adorable laughs and at the most simplest things like pretending to sneeze. He had me laughing !!! what a way to make your day!

Rachael & Olivia
